Contribute to the IT Exhibition at the 3rd Eri-Youth Festival

Within the framework of the 3rd Eri-Youth Festival, an information technology exhibition will be organized. As Eritrean youth are at a race to develop their country, they are also at a race to catch up with the rest of the world when it comes to IT. Youth are not only the ones most affected by IT but they are also the main contributors to IT development. Recognizing the significance of IT for youth empowerment and national development, NUEYS explores ways to help Eritrean youth realize their aspirations towards information communication technology (ICTs).

Among Eritreans in the Diaspora, there are many computer experts who have already expressed their desire to contribute to the ICT development of Eritrea. There are also many Eritreans residing in Eritrea who have immense knowledge of ICTs. By brining these people together, NUEYS hopes to use the 3rd Eri-Youth Festival as a platform for experience sharing and the development of ideas of ways to develop ICTs in Eritrea specially designed to cater the ICT needs of Eritrea.

The Eri-Youth Festival is a festival organized by the coordinated efforts of NUEYS’ zonal offices. The success of the festival is also highly dependent on the active participation of Eritrean youth in the Diaspora. If you are interested in contributing to the 3rd Eri-Youth Festival IT exhibition, please fill out the attached ‘IT Exhibition Participants Profile’ and send it to us as soon as possible.

Your contribution to the IT exhibition would be very much appreciated as there are many youth who are interested in IT but might not have access to them. If you choose to participate, NUEYS will provide you with equipment (i.e. computers, desks, display tables, etc.). For instance, if you would like to exhibit software, we will provide you with the computer so you won’t have to worry about bringing one with you. However, if you have to bring with you some type of equipment that isn’t available in Eritrea, please tell us before hand so that we can assist you. We are dedicated to making sure that all works out smoothly for your active participation in the IT exhibition.
